Kalyan Station

Kalyan is a small city on the outskirts of Mumbai. Kalyan and its neighboring city Dombivali jointly form the Dombivali-Kalyan Municipal Corporation. Kalyan has a total population of about 1.1 million and serves as one of the major supplier of work force to Mumbai. It is the considered as the exit station from Mumbai to north and south India. Of late, Kalyan has been providing many affordable housing options for middle and lower class sections.

Palava city is just 12 kms from Kalyan station. Palava has been planned and developed by Lodha Group with the help of international firms like IBM, Sasaki, Buro Happold, etc. Palava targets to change the way people live in modern cities in India. It is the first smart city to be developed by a private developer in India which is of international standards.
