Palava City: A Role Model to Future Cities
Palava City is being developed with a vision by Lodha Group. Palava City is spread across 4000 acres of land parcel in Dombivali east near Mumbai. Once completed Palava will be a role model to other future cities that will be developed in India.
Palava City will have a huge amount up to 60% of open space, which will be the highest for any city developed till now. Palava will have 100 kms of interconnected internal roads in a grid pattern, thus creating pedestrian friendly roads. There will be 1 lack trees planted all across Palava city by the developer. These trees will be at different parts of the city but the major part will be in the 100 acre Central park. Palava will be one of the least populated cities in the world.
Palava will generate 2.5 lack jobs once it is completed. The major jobs will concentrated in the IT hub and the commercial complex that Lodha Group is developing in Sector 1 and 2 of Palava City. However, there will be jobs for all sectors that are available in this planet. Lodha Group has already tied up with some major IT companies to setup their office in Palava.
All city level amenities are at a distance of 5 to 15 minutes of walking distance from your home. Thus, residents can spend more time in all the leisure activities they like rather than travelling and stuck up in traffic for hours. Palava is full of leisure activities
IBM has been roped in to convert Palava city into a Smart city. A smart city is a city where all the activities are carried out with the help of technology. Controlling of traffic, electricity load breakup in the city, internet connection at common areas, water management, air quality control, etc. will be controlled with the help of technology.
